Johnny Jones Obituary

Died Thursday, November 26, 2015 at Baton Rouge General Medical Center. He was a native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. A former employee of I.L. Lyons. Johnny is survived by his sons, Johnny Jones, Jr. Thurman Bates, George Jones and a daughter Yvette Jones Campbell. Siblings, Betty Hardy Smith, Donnajean Jones Carter, and Charles Tolliver; 14 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, a devoted Christian Friend Susan Washington and a host of relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Mabel Forrest Hardy and Johnny Bertell Jones, Sr., Siblings Irene Hardy, Evelyn Beauchamp, Patricia Ann Jones, Lawrence Hardy, and Joseph Leroy Jones. Memorial Service on Dec. 13, 2015, will be private.

Daddy, I know you are in Heaven with Jesus and your other family but here you are in my heart. Your love, kindness, upbringing, peace, joy, laughter and smile lives through me and other's that you have touch here on Earth. I appreciate and love you more than you know. I will see you again and we tell you over and over again how much I love you and thank you for being a good example and daddy. Love your ONLY Daughter. Yvette
