Ray Rossi Obituary
Ray owned and operated Rossi Dairy –Produce since 1976, having farmed his entire life. He was a volunteer fireman for South Adams Fire for nine years and was a member of Our Lady of Victory Chapel in Aurora. He loved farming and his own farm. Ray was proud of his work as a farmer.
He loved ice fishing with his sons when he could go and enjoyed trips up the mountain. He also loved his Border Collie, Lacey. Ray had a loving personality and he will be greatly missed.
Ray is survived by his wife, Anita, of Hudson; three sons, Frank Rossi, Vincent (Francine) Rossi and Lee Rossi, all of Hudson; three brothers, Franklin (Karen) Rossi of Littleton, Roger (Fern) Rossi of Arvada and William (Tammye) Rossi of Ozark, MO; twin-sister, Kay (Richard) Ito, of Centennial; and four grandchildren.
Rosary Service was held Thursday, May 1, 2014, at Tabor-Rice Funeral Home in Brighton, with visitation one hour prior. Low Trinitine Latin Mass followed on Friday, May 2, 2014, at Our Lady of Victory Roman Catholic Chapel, 2566 Sable Blvd. in Aurora. Interment at St. Isidore Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made in Ray's name to Our Lady of Victory Roman Catholic Chapel, 2566 Sable Blvd., Aurora, CO 80011.
Tabor-Rice Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.

So this is about 8 years late but Ray just crossed my mind. He invited me to his farm as an intern in 1990. That short time on his farm molded me into a person that leaned to never back down or take things for granted. Thank you for molding my life Ray.

Dear Anita;
I am so sorry to hear of Ray's passing. I just heard about it today, May 3, 2014. I can still remember when my daughter was pregnant and working at the store that they had a bet going on about when she would deliver, Ray won the pot. Wow, was he a character. We'll all miss him. I hope that you, Frank, Vince, and Lee are doing okay under the circumstances. I know how hard it is to lose someone. But, like my grandmother used to tell us, it's we that mourn. The one that has passed is with God and happy and free.

So sad to hear of Ray passing. Each and every time he visited us, he always talked about you with love in his eyes, passion in his heart. So few find their soul mate, I have and I know the two of you were/are soul mates. He was full of energy, fun, and lived a wild and happy life! Take care, we are thinking of you. We are truly sorry to here of your loss. Ray was one of a kind. He had a way with people that set him apart. He knew just how to handle anyone who crossed his path in life. We will forever appreciate all that your family has meant to our family. We will deeply miss Ray and his wit and knowledge for life. He provided us with a lifetime of memories. My kids have always looked forward to their annual visit with Ray and Anita. We have dozens of photos of Ray surrounded by all kinds of kids and they all look as happy as can be. He was one of a kind and an unforgettable character. We will miss our "Padrino" and will keep the family in our prayers.

To Anita and family,
Ray was a beloved character who truly was bigger than life. He gave of all the gifts that God granted him. He was generous and compassionate and made us feel like family. We will miss most his sense of humor. Ray had a ready story for every situation. After leaving the farm, we would laugh for the entire car ride home remembering all the hilarious things Ray had said.
He loved God, his faith, his family and we never knew a time when Ray wasn't quietly helping a neighbor or someone in need.
We will miss him always and pray God will gently heal your broken hearts! God bless you all!
