Linda Eastridge Goad, 72, of Hillsville, passed away on Saturday, July 31, 2021 at Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center. Mrs. Goad was born in Grayson County to the late Gleason and Ilean Sizemore Eastridge. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Carl; daughter-in-law, Cindy; and grandson, Tyler.
Survivors include her brother, Carroll (Phyllis) Eastridge; son, Michael (Wanda) Goad; granddaughters, Jessica and Briana; great-granddaughter, Zophia; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 5, 2021 at 3:00 PM at Fairview Presbyterian Church with Rev. Debbie Ginder officiating. Burial will follow the Goad Family Cemetery, 5113 Silverleaf Road, Dugspur, VA at 4:30 PM. The family will receive friends at the church on Thursday from 2:00 until 3:00 PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Fairview Presbyterian Church - Carl Goad Christmas Fund. A guestbook is available online by visiting www.vaughanguynnandmcgrady.com. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
