Jessie Stiwinter Henson

Jessie Stiwinter Henson, 87, of Dillard, Ga., passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2024.
Born in Macon County, she was the daughter of the late Len and Ethel Louise Patterson Stiwinter. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clifton P. Henson; stepdaughter, Annmarie Henson; and a brother, Morris L. Stiwinter.
Jessie loved to spoil her grandson, great grandchildren and her nieces. Her nieces remember the countless Sunday morning visits where she and Cliff would bring them ice cream and her grandson said that Sundays was always the day that they would come and have family time and spoil him.
Jessie is survived by her grandson, Luke Henson and his wife, Nikki of Dillard, Ga.; four great grandchildren, Isabella, Kolton, Jace and Addison; one sister-in-law, Pauline Stiwinter of Otto, N.C.; and three nieces, Phyllis Castle (Ronnie), Kathy Fountain (Kevin), and Gail Stiwinter. She also has three great nieces, one great nephew, and one great great niece surviving.
The family received friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 3, 2024.
The funeral service was at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 4, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Pastor Terry Moffitt will officiated. Burial was in the Wright Cemetery on Tessentee Road.
Pallbearers were Luke Henson, Kevin Fountain, Dakota Fountain, Ronnie Castle, Bill Fountain and Jamie Reynolds.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Wright Cemetery Fund, C/O of Kevin Fountain, 322 Ideal Acres, Otto, NC 28763.
