Nancy Carlson Obituary
Born in the car, in Falls Creek, on the way to the hospital on Sept. 15, 1944, to Joseph M. and Dorothy E. Reitz Wells.
On May 14, 1979, she married Walter "Sonny" Carlson and they made their home on Whetstone Road in Brockport for nearly 30 years, until his death on Feb. 19, 2009. Nancy moved to her current residence at 70 10th Street in October 2011, where she made her home with her faithful pets.
She is survived by two sons; Ronald Repiscak Jr. of Brockport and Michael (Tracy) Repiscak of Brockway; one daughter, Marlene Bartlett of Brockway; three step-sons: Donald (Karen) Carlson of Brockport, James Carlson of Brockway, and Tom Carlson of Florida; one step daughter, Ellie Carlson of Butler, Pa; one brother, Martin (Joyce) Wells of Fort Louden, Pa. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her precious beloved sister, Janet M. Schaffer, and an infant brother, Delbert Wells.
Following her wishes all services will be private. Burial will be in the Beechwoods Cemetery at Falls Creek.
Memorial donations may be made in Nancy's memory to Penn Highlands Hospice, Breast Cancer Care also through Penn Highlands or the Gateway Humane Society in Falls Creek, Pa.
The Carlson-Shugarts Funeral Home in Brockway is handling the arrangements. Online condolences may be left at csfhinc.com.
