Vaughn Steele Obituary
Born on December 1, 1937, in Beechwoods, he was the son of the late Robert W. and Mary L. Klingensmith Steele.
On July 11, 1959, he was married to Shirley M. Repiscak and she preceded him in death on November 21, 2018.
Retired, Vaughn had been employed as a tool room foreman at Brockway Glass for over 45 years. He was a member of the Moorhead Methodist Church. Vaughn loved antique cars and was a member of the Punxsutawney Region of the AACA Car Club. He also enjoyed food, from grand dinners to plain ole snacking.
Vaughn is survived by two sons, David (Mary Kay) Steele and Daniel (Tammy) Steele, both of Falls Creek; a brother, Gary (Lois) Steele of Shippenville, PA; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. A private funeral service was held with Pastor Dave Nagele officiating. Burial was in Wildwood Cemetery in Brockway.
Memorial donations may be made to Nelson's Golden Years, PO Box 446, DuBois, PA 15801.
The Shugarts Funeral Home Inc. of Brockway was in charge of the arrangements.
