Gary Wisniewski Obituary
His intelligence, perseverance and innate wisdom, along with a smile and twinkle in his eyes, brought joy to family and a lifetime of friends.
He is survived by his brothers, Ted "Butch" and wife Lynn, Wayne and wife Debbie and Mark; along with his sisters, Barbara Schuler and husband Larry and Deborah Wallis. He also leaves behind nieces, nephews, cousins and a wealth of friends. He was a best friend to many people.
Gary's family wants to express their gratitude to all who cared for him during his hospital stay.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 1, at St Patrick's Cemetery, Depot Road, Uncasville. All are invited to offer their prayers and "Til we meet agains."

Two years since last I saw Gary, my heart is still damaged. Gary knew me my entire life, good and sad times. He was a wonderful, patient brother, I learned so much from him. I keep those memories close.

A year has passed and my heart is still broken. Throughout our lives, Gary showed inordinate patience with me, taught me so much, and brought me so much joy. I hope I expressed to him how much I treasured having him for a brother and friend.

Gary was one of the nicest guys I ever met. He was so kind to me and so helpful when times were tough. I could "always" count on Gary to get it back up and running again even if the money was tight. I'll always miss the stories he had to tell. So many, so funny! God bless you Brother you'll be sorely missed.

To the Wisniewski Family: I am so saddened by your lose of Gary . Your family was so dear to my late father that some times I wondered if he was some how related. Yes indeed a ten minute visit always turned into a one hour chat. No matter what, no matter where no matter the time of night or season some one from Ski's garage always came to the rescue. Sorry that it could not make it back home to pay proper respect. God Bless Gary and all of his family and loved ones.

I also want to thank all those who came to the funeral yesterday to celebrate his life. He was the kindest to all and a terrific brother to me. He will be greatly missed.

For Gary's family,
Today (August 1st), was a beautiful celebration of life. The weather was gorgeous. Family and friends showed up, hot rod cars (all the Wisniewski boys were SO into cars, how appropriate). Wonderful stories and/or memories were shared. Such love and comraderie amongst everyone. I know Gary felt the love. It has been such a long time yet the years were erased and it was just about love for your brother, uncle, friend. Wishing everyone much love and good health.

To Gary´s family please accept my family´s condolences on his passing.
Riding past Ski´s since my Freshman year at St Bernard´s in 1970 it was only within the past ten years that I´d had the privilege to meet Gary and his brothers who occasionally had to service our vehicles.
He treated us so good and was always welcoming.
We will surely miss him and cherish his memory
