Geoffrey,

Only God could have given me a brother like you. I loved you so, so, so much. You always made me feel so special and were always there for me. You were so warm, funny, serious, generous and loving and you could be all those things all at the same time. I cherish every memory, every moment we had more than the finest, most precious gold. More than any material thing on God's green earth. I will never let you go in my heart or my being, because you are a part of my heart and my soul. I know I will see you again and you will have the barbeque already cooking. That is what will keep me going.

Uncle Geoffrey... I can still hear your laughter in my head and you calling me "Bug". I loved your corny jokes :-) ... you had a gift for making people laugh. You will be missed so much! Give Grandma and Autie Cheryl a big hug and kiss for me. You will always be in my heart. Love, Ayana aka Bug

Mr. Geoffrey-

I have had the pleasure of knowing you for over 35 years. I could always depend on you for three things- a warm hug, a heartfelt laugh and a "good" joke. I appreciate the way you loved your family (which included your dear friends), your house and poker. You had a passion for them all. Geoffrey, I want to thank you for the privilege of sharing these many years with you. I want to also thank you for loving my daughters as you loved your own. But, I want to thank you most of all for loving and supporting my husband and for being his best friend.

You weren't always there when you were wanted but you the first one there when you were needed!!!

I will miss you and remember your joy for life forever-

BEAST, I remember the times that we spoke. I remember the times that you unconditionnally helped me, and I know that you have helped others in the same manner. My family and I will miss you. WQe remeber the time when you helped us move a mountain, as well as the manny times we had conversations on HWY 80 median regarding general concerns. It has been a pleasure knowing you and you will be missed. God Speed Geff, AKA "the Beast."

It has been said by many that time waits for no one, but at least we were blessed to share some precious time with Geoffrey. We can maintain fond memories and loving thoughts of his labor and patience. Geoffrey will be remembered by me as a dynamic positive mentor, a peaceful man of faith and a confidant who walked in the light. He shared his experiences and wisdom with many so we could continue our journey. His journey is over ... praises be to God that Geoffrey's victory is won. It is challenging to comprehend and accept the loss of a faithful soldier. But, I do believe that God will no doubt impart these words to Geoffrey, "Servant the job has been well done!"

Peace be with you,

April 10, 2006

Dear Geoffrey: To hear that you have passed on leaves me with great sadness. You are one the most faithful and loyal people I have ever known. On many occasions you saved my life and did so without fanfare or little acknowledgement by others. I know it will not be the same without you. Thank you for your dedication and bravery,

Sincerely Lt. Kitt Crenshaw

Geoffery: May you be at peace now. You had a great journey here on earth, you fought the good fight and kept the Streets safer for the good citizen's of The City. Please look out for the rest of us while we continue the battle. May God bless and keep your family safe.

Geoffry

I see you now as though it was yesterday. I will never forget the good and the bad times, we did what we had to do. We worked together not as individuals but as a team, as brothers, looking out and caring for one another. We laughed, we talked, we joked: we loved and cared for one another and lived life to the fullest with no regrets. Go home my brother and rest in eternal peace. Someday we will meet again. Aloha
