Jim was a really wonderful father to Brandt and a wonderful father-in-law to me. We have had some really good belly laughs! I enjoyed cooking holiday meals for him, as Monique said - he was so easy to please and appreciative of everything anyone did on his behalf. We will miss him greatly and are thankful that he was the head of our family. Love you Jim!

Brandt and family.
I am very sorry to hear about the passing of your dad. Both he and your mom are wonderful people. I was a spectator many a day when they would visit my parents and "yuck" it up together like they were 18 again. May his memory be eternal. Ann Buonocore

I had the pleasure to assist Jim a few times a week through Seniors Helping Seniors since November. I would pick him up in his wife's room, take him home, cook for him or take him shopping, and share many conversations ranging from kids, to society, cooking, etc. When it came to preparing meals for him, he would tell me, "Make what you will, I will eat what you cook." Such an easygoing man with a heart of gold, pride in his family and home, and quiet patience. He shared stories about family outings, tales about his two sons (who I could tell he was extremely proud of), his life growing up, the values instilled in him by his parents. I was honored to get to know him. My prayers are with Brandt and the rest of his family. Much love to you all. He was a phenomenal, gentle man.
