Curtis Gregg Obituary
Rev. Curtis Gregg, Jr., 79, Assistant Pastor at Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Bryan, passed away on Sunday, August 26, 2012. His prophetic prayer during Altar Call was testimony to his closeness with Jesus Christ as he passed away shortly thereafter.
Funeral services are set for 2:30 p.m. Saturday, September 1, at Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Craig Anderson eulogizing and Rev. Raye Bootye officiating. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. on Friday, August 31, at Daniel and Son Funeral Home in Bryan. The body will lie in state from 12:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. at the church prior to the service.
He is survived by his wife of almost 23 years, Willie Mae Jenkins-Gregg; three sisters, Bobbie LeDoux (Solomon) of Montgomery, Texas, Linda Williams and Eva Wilborn, both of Houston; four brothers, John Wilborn and Robert Wilborn (Leslie), both of Trenton, New Jersey, Willie Wilborn (Beverly) of Sugarland, and Milton Wilborn of Houston; six stepchildren, Autri Lynn Jenkins Robertson of Sugarland, Sherylon Jenkins Carroll (Douglas) of College Station, Kimberly Jenkins Norton (Gary) of Fort Worth, David Kenneth Jenkins and Ricky Dale Jenkins, both of Bryan, and Howard Kelley Jenkins, of Jefferson, Louisiana; ten grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
