Donna Jean Bogs, 92, of Iowa City, Iowa, passed away on April 25, 2023. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Monday, May 1, at Lensing Funeral and Cremation Service, 605 Kirkwood Ave., Iowa City, with a funeral service to begin at 2 p.m. Burial will be at Oakland Cemetery in Iowa City. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Friends of the Animal Center Foundation. Donna is survived by five of her seven children, Robert Bogs Sr. (Annie) of North Liberty, Iowa, Patricia Maxfield (Jeff) of Davenport, Iowa, Donna Marie Bogs of Iowa City, Iowa, David Bogs (Michele) of North Liberty, Iowa, and Wendy Lonngren (Jon) of Iowa City, Iowa; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, a couple great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, cousins and her elder brother, William Hedges of Colona, Ill. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Zaye Hedgesl her husband, William Ned Bogs; her daughter, Kathy; her son, William Jr.; her grandson, Christopher; her granddaughters, Amy and Heather; son-in-law, Anthony Weller; her brothers, Chester, Everette, Carroll, Harvey Jr. and Lloyd; and her sisters, Delores, Cleo, Lafawn and Helen.
