Wayne Harland Jensen

Wayne Harland Jensen, 74, of Center Point, Iowa, passed away Friday, July 15, 2022, at Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy in Hiawatha, Iowa. Celebration of Life: 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, July 23, 2022, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Center Point. Wayne was born Aug, 22, 1947, in Madison, S.D. He graduated from Washington High School in Sioux Falls, S.D., in 1966. Wayne was married to Terry Jean Covington on June 4, 1973, at Holy Redeemer Lutheran Church in Cedar Rapids. He worked as an auto mechanic his entire life. Wayne loved to go golfing and fishing. Survivors include his wife, Terry Jensen; children, Randy Jensen, Shelley (Brandon) Penny, Rodney Larson and Sheila Bahnson; grandchildren, Asher Penny, Ozzie Howard, Maya Bahnson and Brooke Larson; and siblings, Vern “Bud� Jensen, Mary Fleiner and Shirley Hanish.
