Carolyn R. Schweitzer, age 87 of Romeoville, IL., passed away Tuesday September 21, 2021. Beloved mother of Linda (Dale Freeman) Schweitzer, Kathleen (Fred) Landrosh, Virginia (Steve) Hawkins and the late William Michael (Lou) Schweitzer; cherished grandmother of William Joseph (Sue) Schweitzer, Matthew (Kate) Niedfeldt, Rosemary (Jon) McCloskey, Nicholes (fiancée Katie) Saraga, Cora (Brendan) Cusick, Briana (Jake) Mack and the late grandson in infancy Michael; great grandmother of Michael (Stephanie)Poierier, Christian (Leah) Frome, Brooke McCloskey, Connor Niedfeldt and Sawyer Niedfeldt and great great grandmother of Chance Poierier; fond sister of the late Rosemary (late Duaine) Voudrie and brother in infancy Charles Jr.; dear aunt of Steve (Nancy) Voudrie; preceded in death by her parents Charles A. and Ogretta Flesch. Carolyn was employed by school district 365U and retired from Walmart after 22 years of service at the age of 80. Visitation Sunday September 26, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Anderson Memorial Chapel 606 Townhall Dr. Romeoville, IL., funeral service Monday September 27, 2021 9:30 a.m. from the funeral home to St. Andrew the Apostle Church, Romeoville, IL. for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery Romeoville, IL.
