Charles Arthur Wright, 92, of Pontiac, passed away Tuesday, August 10, 2021, at Evenglow Lodge in Pontiac.
A Mass will be held on Monday, August 16, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Pontiac with Father David Sabel officiating. Burial will follow the service at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Pontiac.
Visitation will be Sunday, August 15, 2021, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Duffy-Baier-Snedecor Funeral Home with rosary to follow.

Charles was born November 5, 1928, in Ligonier, IN to Charles and Mary (Reed) Wright. He married Rita Chamberlin on September 2, 1950, in Morris, IL. She survives in Pontiac.
Also surviving are his children, Charles Wright of Pontiac, IL, David (Kathy) Wright of Peoria Heights, IL, and Kathryn Mossell of Manhattan, IL; grandchildren, Jonathan Wright, Jordan (Karen) Wright, Lynsey Wright, Jaclyn (Zachary Norman) Wright, Tyler Wright, Kaitlyn Wright, Christopher (Emily) Mossell, and Meghann Mossell; and great-grandchildren, Calvin Ruiz, Marley Wright, Charlie Wright, Finneas Mossell, and Darcy Mossell.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Robert Wright; and sisters, Shirley Hastert and Lois Russell.
Charles was the Co-Owner of Trico Paving Inc. (road construction) and retired in 1988. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of Pontiac and a past member of the Pontiac Elk's where he received the Elk of the Year Award in 1981.
He was a private pilot who loved to fly. He was a guitar player who enjoyed singing and performing and he loved to play golf. But most of all, he loved and took care of his family.
Memorials may be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church in Pontiac and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
