Died: Oct. 19, 2014; in Joliet, IL
Joseph A. Caliendo, age 74, passed away Sunday, October 19, 2014, after a courageous battle with pneumonia at Presence St. Joseph Hospital in Joliet.
Born in Chicago on December 26, 1939, he resided in Crest Hill and was formerly of Paw Paw, IL. A Veteran of the US Air Force 1958 to 1962. Retired from Caterpillar Aurora, IL. after 35 years of service. Member of the Operating Engineers Union Local 145.
He is survived by his son, Joseph ( Earleen) Caliendo of Crest Hill, IL; and his sisters, Rita of Aurora, IL and Connie of Montgomery, IL.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Martin & Helen Caliendo of Aurora, IL. His wife, JoDee Caliendo of Paw Paw, IL; and his siblings, Dominic, Marie and John of San Jose California, Annie of Stockton California and Terry of Steele Missouri.
Visitation Saturday October 25, 2014 from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Anderson Memorial Home, 21131 W. Renwick Rd., Crest Hill, IL 60403. Cremation will follow with private burial of cremains at Wyoming Cemetery in Paw Paw, IL.
