My sincere condolences to Dr. Marconi's family and staff. I am a 30 year patient and my husband had been seeing Dr. Marconi since he moved to IL 20 years ago. Even when we moved from Joliet to the south suburbs, we still drove to Joliet to see Dr. Joe. He will be greatly missed.

Dr. Marconi was a very special person. After years of anxiety and panic attacks and extreme fear of dentists he was the only one that could help me calm down to sit in the dentist chair. He has helped me so much and I will never forget him. Deepest sympathies to your family. He will not be forgotten. Tammy Del Toro

Dear Sue and family,
My prayers to the entire family. My heart aches with sympathy for all of you. I came to Dr. Joe 36 years ago for all of my dental needs (and my family too) but you get to form a bond and friendship after knowing someone so long. (about his family, his trips, his golf game and whatever he would talk about). He was truly a kind and generous man. He will be missed by all. My sympathy to his office family. Joe, God Bless you. May you now be at peace ..... no pain - no suffering.

Sorry to hear about Joe's passing. He was a phenomenal dentist and a fantastic guy. I drove for fifteen years when I lived in Streator so he could still be my dentist. My sympathy to his family and office staff.

Although years and miles have come between us, childhood memories never fade. Joe was the brother I never had. I treasure the family picnics,Saturday bowling, pro sports events, holidays, and even his teasing.Who knew that under his gruffness as a youth, there was such tenderness. How wonderful he was to the aunts and uncles in their old age. What a wonderful tribute he gave to family in his mother's eulogy. I'm sure he was welcomed into God's kingdom by my father on his birthday along with the Manno and Marconi clans.

My wife Rita and I were married in 1974 and chose Dr. Marconi for our family dentist needs. We had four children and all were taken to Joe for their dentist needs. Joe became and good friend, we both collected old cars (he loved his Cutlass) and loved our families and our work. Our lives were blessed by Dr. Marconi and we will miss him as we have at the practice, and we are praying for his family. May the Peace of God which passes all understanding give his family peace and encouragement, now and for days to come.

So sorry to hear about Dr Joe's passing. Our deepest sympathy to Sue and his family. Also our sympathy to his office family; some have been there for many many years.I believe Joe was a distant cousin of our Affrunti family. I have been a patient of his for 40 years and will surely miss him and our talks about the casino, cards and Vegas. God Bless and rest in peace Joe.
