Born: Oct. 1, 1953; in Joliet, IL
Died: Feb. 11, 2015; in Oak Lawn, IL
Kurt James Rothlisberger, age 61, at rest Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at Advocate Christ Medical Center - Oak Lawn, with his family by his side, following complications of heart failure.
Survived by his loving wife, Sue; sons, Nathan, Scott, Steven; daughters, Becky and Katie; grandchildren, Scott, Lucas, David, Sophia, Abrigail, Cillian and Finley; also survived by his mother, Mary Jane; brother, William; sisters, Linda and Gail.
Preceded in death by his father, Jim (June 30, 1967); and his half brother, Jerry (2007).
Born in Joliet, October 1, 1953, to Mary Jane (Libersher) and James Rothlisberger. Kurt graduated from Lockport schools, and later joined the Air Force, where he received an education in electronics.
Kurt was a family man who was a shining example of what God holds high as a husband, father and terrific grandpa.
Visitation Friday, February 20, 2015, from 3:00 to 9:00 p.m., at Salerno's Rosedale Chapel, 450 W. Lake St., Roselle, IL 60172.
Funeral services for Kurt will be Saturday, February 21, 2015, at 9:00 a.m., at the funeral home, driving in procession to Corpus Christi Church, 1415 W. Lies Rd., Carol Stream, for a mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Assumption Cemetery, 1S510 Winfield Rd., Wheaton, IL
