Maurice Q. Dunnigan affectionately known as "Moe" was born on February 9, 1961 in Joliet, IL to Maudie Lee Powell (nee Dunnigan) and George Harrington. He departed this life on March 2, 2022 at Palos Community Hospital in Palos Heights, IL.
He attended Mt. Ebal M.B. Church in Lockport, IL under the leadership of Pastor Cornell Ervins.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Maudie Powell; father, George Harrington; siblings, Mary Irby and Robert Harrington; maternal grandparents, Lillie and Judge Dunnigan and bonus daughter, Nadia Robinson.
Maurice is survived by his wife, Irene Dunnigan; companion of many years, Linda Robinson; sons, Lionel Bush and Chris (Pauline) Bush; two brothers, Morris (Civie) Dunnigan and Greg Harrington; sister, Patsy Harrington; bonus daughter, Porsche Robinson; many bonus grandchildren; special niece, Lela Irby; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2022 from 9:00-10:00 AM at St. Paul M.B. Church, 1404 S. Briggs St., Joliet, IL. Service at 10:00 AM, Pastor Cornell Ervins, officiating. Interment following at Elmhurst Cemetery, Joliet, IL.
