Dorothy Rzasa Obituary

Dorothy Rzasa
Dorothy Ann Rzasa, wife of the late Raymond Rzasa, passed away peacefully on November 8, 2022, at the age of 91. She was born in Stamford, CT on December 26, 1930 to the late Michael and Frances (Kisczkiel) Polasko.
Since learning at age twelve how to sew yo-yos, (small round fabric pieces) at the young age of 80, Dorothy started her own craft-show and internet business, Yo-Yo Décor. There, she also sold her beautiful silk flower arrangements, another of her lifelong passions. Prior to this, she worked as the bookkeeper for the Wilton Family Y until her retirement.
Dorothy is survived by her three children: Raymond Rzasa Jr. and wife, Barbara, Suzanne McGovern and husband, Charles, and Cindy Rzasa Bess and husband, John. She also leaves behind five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Mass will be held December 3rd at 10 am at St. Jerome's Church, 23 Half Mile Rd., Norwalk, followed by burial at St. Johns Cemetery, 25 Camp Ave., Darien, CT.
