James R. Bement born 9/28/83 Has survived his parents Kathy Camilli and James Bement Sr. He was loved by his brothers Jessi Bement Sr. And sister in law Maggie Bement also brother Mike Vanburen and sister in law Katelynn Vanburen. He was a great single father raising his three kids Hailey, Trinity, and James Bement Jr., a nephew Jessi Bement Jr., and a niece Addilyn Vanburen. James had a step daughter Amber Campbell and step grandson Jase Thomas. James was a huge family man with many great friends that surround him. There will be a memorial service for him at his house 364 Trumbulls Corner Rd. Newfield, on May 27th at 1pm. The family is asking for everyone to bring a dish to pass to make this a huge feast like James would have wanted. The family will be accepting donations on be half of the three kids. Please make all donations to Kathy Camilli or contact his mother Kathy directly.

HI dad it's Hailey, It's November 28th 2024 It's been 7 years without you and Today is Thanksgiving. I wanted to just do a check up and update you on life you know? So I made the Albany high dance team and I preform on December 10th. I also got into placement in July and its my first big holiday in placement. I haven't talk to any family today and it's just hard not eating with family anymore. But I'm 15 now and I miss you A lot and I love you so much.

Still so unbelievable
He was a lovable young man with a huge heart!
His kids were his #1 priority
He loved life and everyone in it
I miss him dearly and he left 3 beautiful young kids behind that will live on through his spirit...
With all my heart ..I Love U dearly..untill we meet again ! And I just know grandma was so happy to meet with her messy Marvin again

So sorry for your loss JR will be missed by alot of people ,he was a very great guy to his friends I would like to let you know how we appreciate the help that he gave Rob ,he said to me the day before he passed that he would always help Rob that just let people how true he was to his friends ,He will be missed I'm so glad he had his children with him before he passed.He loved his children with all his heart.RIP JR

I have known James for many years. I knew him from Boces and I have stayed in contact with him since.... He earned a lot of respect from me when I found out he was raising his kids on his own. He was a special kind of DAD to do it on his own. He will be missed and I am sending prayers to all his family. RIP James...
