Jan, I just wanted to let you know how truely sorry I am for your loss! I will say it was a true pleasure being able to care for Barney as his nurse at the Howell Center for the past year. He was such a sweet man and always put a smile on my face and made me laugh! I know that he was so very excited to be able to go to live with you and I am sure that made his last few months wonderful! You were such an amazing sister to him and I am glad I got to know you as well!! I know that you will miss him deeply but I hope that you can find some peace in knowing he is in a much better place now with God and happy and healthy watching out for us all. He will be missed!

Barney was a beautiful man of God and his light will truly be missed in this world. But I know that Heaven is celebrating and welcoming him to his eternal home. He will forever live in my heart and I am a better person for having known him. If only there were more here on this earth with the same pure and loving heart. He will be missed.

Barney, you always left us with a smile on our faces. You never complained when you had every right to. You made others to be more thankful for good health and made others be more greatful. You truly always brought a smile to my face. You were truly more loved than you will ever know. When we had church services at Howells you always ask us to pray for your Mama so we did pray for your Mama. I did have the pleasure to know your Mama and what a lovely lady she was. Barney you always made the church service great with your sweet voice singing Jesus Loves Me , and Amazing Grace. We are going to miss you our sweet friend and the love you passed on to others will be cherished more than you will ever know. You are going to be so very missed and now you are in heaven in the arms of your Mother. Thank you Barney for blessing us always. May you enjoy your new glorified body. We are so happy for you that you can now do anything you want without any restrictions. Thank you for blessing our life!! I wish I could be there for your service but my health will not allow me to be there for your service and I am so sorry. You know how much we all loved you. Until we meet again know you and your family are very loved. RIP our friend!

Barney was my best friend since I have been working at RHA Howell Center. He could put a smile on my face when I needed lifted. I would always ask him what number in line I was when all the women on the job always begged for his attention. I will miss him very much. My heart and prayers go out to Jan and the family during this time. Deborah Moore, Charlotte , NC

I will never forget the times when I was a little girl and I used to put Christmas bows on top of Uncle Bareny's head! He was a precious gift to our family and will forever live in our hearts! And I will also never forget his smile! No matter what kind of mood anyone was in, his smile could put anyone in a better mood!! I love you forever and always!!!
