Barbara Apicella Obituary

BARBARA L
WYLIE APICELLA

HAINES CITY - Barbara Wylie Apicella, 72, passed away on 10/11/18. Born in Shenadogh, PA, 1946, she lived in Florida since 1966.
She met and married Edward V. Apicella on 4/30/91. Between them they had five children, Tammy Lee, Scott Koval, Edward A, Ginamarie, Donna Lynn Apicella. Ten grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Barbara was a nurse for many years and then joined Ed in his restaurant business in St. Cloud, which has done very well over the years and still bears their name Apps St. Cloud Pizza.
Barbara battled stage 4 breast cancer and won. She firmly believes her victory came about because of her love and faith in her God. Her way of thanking God was to author five books called The Chronicles of Caleb & Mary Ruth. She brings two young children, brother & sister through life and together their destiny with God. They are exciting stories of spiritual welfare where true belief and true love of God and one another can attain true happiness.
While healing from cancer Barbara became very involved with First Presbyterian Church of Haines City, She loved everything about FPC, the people, the bible studies, wonderful Wednesday with the children.
At FPC she found a new life and loved it so. It gave her the energy to truly enjoy life.
Also a passion of Barbara's was to walk the theme parks with Ed. She would always ask the people taking pictures if she could take the picture for them so they all could be in it. She received so many thanks and so many smiles from all she helped. She loved it so. It was a simple act done out of love and kindness for all people by a wonderful & unforgettable lady.
There will be a memorial for Barbara at the 8:15am service on Sunday, 10/21/18 at FPC.
