LANG, 69
SOMERVILLE, AL. - Funeral service for "Coach" Charles Lang, 69, will be Saturday, August 24, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Somerville Baptist Church with Bro. Shane Lewis officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Valhermoso Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, August 23, 2013 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mr. Lang died on Monday, August 19, 2013 at Decatur Morgan Parkway Medical Center, due to cardiac arrest. He was born Saturday, July 8, 1944, in Morgan County to James Lang and Inez (Brown) Lang. He was a longtime resident of Haines City, Florida.
He was preceded in death by his father and a daughter: Kari Smith.
Survivors include: his wife: Maxine Lang, Somerville, AL, four sons: William Lang, Moulton, AL, James Lang, Lake Wales, Florida, Michael Lang, Somerville, AL and Joshua Lang, Babson Park, Florida, four daughters: Teresa Williams, Lake Wales, Florida, Tracy Ellwanger, Davenport, Florida, Wendi Rice, Albertville, AL and Stacy Lang, Decatur, AL, mother: Inez (Brown) Lang, Somerville, AL, six brothers, six sisters, 22 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be grandsons.
