Phenix City, AL- Ms. Dorothy L. "T-9-E" McCoy, 60, of 1704 12th Place So., Apt. A, Phenix City, AL passed Thursday, October 23, 2014 at Midtown Medical Center.
Funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. EST, Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at Liberty Hill Missionary Baptist Church, Phenix City, AL with Pastor Charlie L. Sanders, officiating. Interment will follow in St. John A.M.E. Church Cemetery, Ft. Mitchell, AL. Visitation is today from 2 - 8 p.m. EST according to Taylor Funeral Home, Inc.
Ms. McCoy was born June 14, 1954 in Phenix City, AL to Hattie Louise Abram of Phenix City, AL and the late Charlie McCoy. She had been employed at The Game Outlet.
Survivors other than her mother include the love of her life, Walter Williams of Salem, AL; two sons, Theodore (Renee) Barber of New Mexico and Bryant Williams of Phenix City, AL; one daughter, Venita McCoy of Warner Robbins, GA; one brother, Bobby (Patricia) McCoy of Maryland; four sisters, Jacqueline Tennin and Pamela Jones both of Phenix City, AL; Gwendolyn (Anthony) George of Tennessee and Lori (Jeremiah) Castille of Birmingham, AL; several grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
