Corinne and family -- I am greatly saddened to learn of Keith's death. He was always a good and trusted friend when we worked as assistant scoutmasters with Boy Scout troop 7 at St. Mark Methodist Church. Keith brought a bright, friendly spirit to our activities, and I appreciated his good-natured sense of humor, and the helping hand he always extended. May God bless you and your family.

Keith was full of good stories, especially the one about how his mother scared away his friend who always happened to linger around until dinner was served ( the household budget was tight, he said ) and the ones about taking naps behind the wheel coming home from Scout camps. I will always hold high the memory of Keith stepping up to make a space in Troop 7 for exceptional persons like his son , Stephen, " mi tocayo " ( Stephen and Keith taught me the meaning of the word ). My Dad, who loved and respected Janet to the heavens, would occasionally kid Keith about his last name, wondering how he could adopt it, it sounded so powerful: " Conquest ". It would seem he conquered life with a fine wife and family, a truly humble bearing , and a serving , caring heart.

Mr. Conquest was the instructor for driver´s ed at the simulator back in high school in the 70´s when I took driver´s ed. I remember he drove a purple Dodge Challenger and it was so cool. Everyone loved it, especially the guys, but of course none of us had a driver´s license. Our group was the last one to take the course because afterwards it was not offered by the school or Region One or whoever put it on.
Thank you for teaching me the rules of driving!
My condolences to his family. May he Rest In Eternal Peace.
