Clark, Charles Edward; age 60; of Mt. Pleasant and Battle Creek, Michigan; passed away on Thursday, January 21, 2016 in Indiana. Charlie was born on June 28, 1955 in Mt. Pleasant, the son of Charles Junior and Audrey M. Grim Clark. Charles worked as a truck driver for Masters Transportation out of Battle Creek and he owned Mid Michigan Services Inc. He enjoyed motorcycles, trucking, golfing at Pleasant Hills, and pool tournaments. Charles is survived by his brothers and sisters, Clinton “Jim” and Barbara Clark of Mt. Pleasant, Roberta and Bob Richardson of Mt. Pleasant, Marilyn and Roger Chapman of Shepherd, Anna Clark of Colorado, and Tom and Kim Clark of Shepherd; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Clarla Horning Mitchell; and a brother, Art Clark. Funeral Services for Charles will be held on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at 1 p.m. from the Rowley Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Rev. John Robinson of the Forest Hill Church of Christ officiating. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery next to his father. The family will receive friends on Friday, January 29 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 at the funeral home and from Noon to 1 p.m. the day of the service. The family suggests memorial contributions to Muscular Dystrophy Association. Sincere sympathies in the loss of Charlie. Mark, Charlie and Herbie roomed together 100 years ago...I know Mark is feeling the loss.(He is in Oregon now). Charlie taught me some dance moves at the Alibi...he loved to dance there! RIP Chuck.

Butch(Charles) was a great person, friend, mentor. I have many great memories. My condolences to the family. Will miss talking to him and hanging out out with him, especially when racing up that hill loaded. He always had the big motors and shiny trucks. Looked good in every aspect of living life!
