Cecile Hall Washington entered into eternal rest on Monday, July 10, 2017. She was a native of New Orleans, LA and resident of Houston, TX. Daughter of the late Walter and Cecile DeGruy Hall. Devoted and loving mother of Jacqueline W. Kelly (deceased Paul Kelly) of San Leandro, CA, Richard J. (Margret) Washington of Houston, TX, Gustave M. (Stephanie) Washington of Hammond, LA. Sister of the late Walter Hall Jr., Melvin Hall, Willie Hall, Eunice (Alvin Sr.) Merritt and Miriam (Jules Sr.) Reimonenq. Beloved grandmother of Carl Washington, Troy Mouton, Gani A. Washington, Michael Harrison, Kirby Poreé Jr. , Nichole Kelly, Paul Kelly Jr., Gerald Kelly, and Peri Jude Kelly. She is also survived by 8 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Cecile attended Valena C. Jones Elementary School and graduated from Gilbert Academy. She retired as a Nursing Assistant from Touro Infirmary. Relatives, friends of the family and Priest and Parishioners of Corpus Christi-Epiphany Catholic, members of The Happy Bunch Social Club and employees of Touro Infirmary are invited to attend A Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM on Saturday, July 22, 2017 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 2022 St. Bernard Ave. Father Henry Davis officiating.
