Mary M. Domokos

PORT CLINTON: Mary M. Domokos, 83, of Port Clinton, passed away Friday evening, August 23, 2013, at Edgewood Manor Nursing Center, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Burgoon, OH, February 21, 1930, the daughter of Jeremiah M. and Dorothy (LeFever) Cooley. Mary was a cook for the V.F.W Homer D. Gardner Post #2480 in Port Clinton for 12 years. She enjoyed reading, attending to her flowers and was a great cook, she especially loved to bake pies.

Survivors include sons, Wayne A (Susan) Fick of Ashland, Jerry L (Donna) Fick of Port Clinton, Beni J. (Vikki) Domokos of Port Clinton, Darrell R. (Lynne) Domokos of Port Clinton, David A. (Josephine Aspacio) Domokos of Port Clinton, and Roger W (Rebeka) Domokos of Oak Harbor; 16 grandchildren; multiple great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; many loving nieces and nephews; sisters, Emma M Mason of Fremont, Anna R. Tracy of Fremont, and Freda L. (Kenneth) Risch of Fremont; brother, Jeremiah "Joe" Cooley of Green Springs.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents; infant brother, Harry D. Cooley; brothers, William "Tom" Cooley and Arthur E.V. Cooley; sisters, Elizabeth A. Cooley, Catherine L. Laubacher and Nellie R. Hudson.

Visitation will be 2-4pm & 6-8pm, Monday, August 26, 2013 in the Gerner-Wolf- Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, 216 Washington Street, Port Clinton, OH 43452. Funeral services will be conducted by Pastor Cheryl Wessel at 11:30am, Tuesday, August 27, 2013 in the funeral home. Interment will be in Riverview Cemetery, Port Clinton.
