Anthony Wilson Obituary

Anthony Howard Wilson age 39, left this world unexpectedly, on Saturday November 5, 2011. He was born to Gordon and Colleen Wilson on June 15, 1972, in Spokane, Washington.

After graduating from Mead High School in 1990, he enlisted in the US Army and served two years as a medic. Following his service in the US ARMY, he attended Spokane Community College, where he studied Bio-medical engineering and respiratory therapy. In 1998, Anthony moved to Yuma, AZ and became an employee of the Yuma Regional Medical Center as a Bio Medical Technician.

Anthony Wilson was a man of many passions including loud rock and roll music, abstract art, movies, off roading, hunting, fishing, collecting/shooting guns, BMX racing, posing with statues, working out, and making people laugh. However, his greatest of passions were his two children, his family, and his friends. Anthony was truly a unique and genuine person, with an amazingly kind, gentle soul and wonderful spirit. His quick smile, cheerful attitude, sense of humor, and recognizable laugh, endeared him to everyone that met him.

Anthony is survived by those he loved deeply; his beautiful and strong children, Konner and Peyton Wilson; Ex-wife and mother of his children, Kristie Wilson of Yuma, AZ; sisters, Christine (Michael) Coe, Kim Fox; niece, Chantel Ramsey of WA; his father, Gordon Wilson and his wife Angelika of Spokane WA; grandmothers, Evelyn Ramus and Sharon Holcolmb of WA; his fiancé, Britni and her daughter Laney of Yuma. He was preceded in death by his mother, Colleen Marie Hoffman.

Memorial services will be held on Friday November 18, 2001 at Yuma Regional Medical Center at 11:00 a.m. A celebration of Anthony's life will be held on Saturday, November 19, 2011 at 1:00p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel, located at 795 W. 28th Street in Yuma, AZ.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made at The Foothills Bank, account number 0125720028 payable to Kristie, Konner or Peyton Wilson.

To Tony's family and girlfriend, as I sit here at the hospital tonight working I'm in shock to hear of his passing. My heart is so heavy for your family and I've been praying all night for God to comfort you all. I didn't know Tony very well but saw him at work and a few times when him and his girlfriend came to my church and for some reason I always had them both on my mind and heart.
