A memorial service for Dorothy Jean Gibson Glenn, 68, of Toccoa, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 7, 2023 at The House of Prayer, 350 Dicks Hill Parkway, Mount Airy, GA 30563 with the Rev. Jan Conley and the Rev. John Conley officiating.
Mrs. Glenn went to her heavenly home Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2022.
Born Aug. 31, 1954, in Clayton, she was the daughter of the late Garnett Ervin and Lena Eller Gibson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Joe Glenn; and her granddaughter, Stacey "Star" Cash.
Survivors include her son, Michael Finley (Ann) of Gainesville; daughter, Amanda McFalls Yearwood (J.D.) of Toccoa; step-daughter, Marcia Glenn (Mandy) of Martinez; step-son, Philip Glenn of Jefferson; step-son, Thomas Glenn of Snellville; step-daughter, Wanda Glenn of Commerce; grandchildren, Ariana Johnson (Dom), Logan Finley, Mikayla Finley, Destiny Cheatham, Waylon Bryars, Savannah Glenn, Urijah Glenn; as well as three great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and close friends.
