Robert Faust Obituary
At home with his family and the angels at his bedside, Robert L. Faust, 75, of Omro, passed away on Sunday, June 26, 2011 after losing his fight with cancer. He was born on September 27, 1935 in Oshkosh a son of William and Elsie Wacholtz Faust. On February 8, 1958 he married Patricia Zuehlke in Oshkosh at St. Paul 's United Church of Christ.
Robert worked at Oshkosh Truck for 35 years, and he was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years Patricia, three daughters Lee Ann (Steven Applebee) Musselman, Kitty (Mark) Schmick, Tricia( LaMar ) Karst all of Omro, his brothers Bernard (Bonnie) Faust of Oshkosh, Arthur Faust of Sheboygan, David Faust of Flagler Beach FL., Carroll (JoAnne) Faust of Oshkosh, Gordy (Carrie) Faust of Pickett, Tom(Jeanne) Faust of Omro, Willie Faust of Ripon, Dennis Faust of Menasha, Ronald Faust of Park Falls, his sisters Audrey Allmers of Oshkosh, Joyce (Robert) Schneider of Menasha, Shirley (Jon) Badtke of Ripon, his grandchildren Heather (Cory Dahms) Robinett, Hiedi (Gary) Sheldon, Zack, Casey, and Logan Schmick, Colin Madi Pearl, and Walker Karst all of Omro, five great-grandchildren Carley, Katie, Sophie, Jacob and Michael. He was preceded in death by his parents, his son William"Billy Jon" Faust, and an infant daughter Mary Elizabeth Faust.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 6, 2011 at 1 p.m. at St. Paul 's United Church of Christ with Rev. Rae Ann Beebe officiating. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 5, 2011 at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Homes-Westside from 4-8 p.m. and at the church on Wednesday one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Lake View Memorial Park.
We watched you grow so tired, Dad
with every passing day,
And our hearts
Have grown more heavy
As we saw you fade away.
And then we knew the
Time had come
For us to let you go.
To say our last good-bye to you
and say, "We love you so."
