Dearest Kathleen and Family:
My deepest and sincere sympathies to each and every member of your family from the bottom of my heart and soul. My mom grew up with Kathleen as her best friend and the Percival brothers as if they were brothers of her own. There are many stories that I've heard over so many years and Bob was always the story teller and was the best storyteller. Always captivated everybody's attention because he had that mischievous smile, that booming voice, that robust laugh, and that love for life and everybody around him.
He wore his heart on his sleeve he was big old softy that showed his love for his family and his friends openly. He would do anything for a neighbor, a friend and give the shirt off his back to a stranger his heart was as big as Texas. And his hugs, his hugs were they never ever left you you carried his hug with you even after you walked away from from him. You could still feel his arms so strong around you and the love that's poured out of his hugs, so warm that it seeped into your bones because he was that kind of person.
He was always full of stories, jokes, antidotes, and always the one to make you laugh. He could also be serious which was rare find but to have found a man like that; to have both humor and a serious side, that's when you have found a Bob Perceval.
I would just like one final note to say this thank you to Bob's wonderful wife and his children and of course to Kathleen my mom's best friend for allowing my mom and I to share in your family gatherings and to be a part of your "extended family." I know it's been years now especially since my mom is passed away but I still think back to how Bob always made sure that my mom and I were included and Kathleen always made sure my mom and I were always included and your family always made us feel welcome.
I believe in angels on earth and I know for fact deep in my heart and soul that Bob was an angel on earth.
May God hold the Percival Family wrapped in peace, comfort and rest.
Love,
Danielle Hooper

Dear Percival Family:
My daughters and I would like to send our deepest sympathies on the bottom of our hearts for the loss that your family has experience. Bob, along with Kathleen and brothers were great friends with my mom. He was larger than life and my girls thought the world of him as he did of them. When God made Bob he broke the mold, as there is not another man out there that was the husband, father, brother, neighbor or friend that he was. My mom thought the world of him as she did each and everyone of the Percivals....her best friend Kathleen who they both shared many secrets of fun. Yet, some how Bob and her brothers found out on some occasions!
Let there never be said that angels aren't on earth among us. Because we have all experienced one in Bob, his hugs, smile, and his laughter. He will be watching over each of us just from a different vantage point. Truly blessed was I and my daughters to have had him touch our lives.
God Bless your hearts with peace, with peace God sends to comfort you.
Love,
Deana (Hooper),Desiree, Dominique Collins

I am so very sorry for your loss. Although I never had the fortune to meet Bob, knowing you Steve, and reading comments that have been written about him, makes it clear that he was a wonderful father and a special friend.
Much love to you all.
