Suzanne P. Rehm

REHM, SUZANNE P. (nee Karner); of Waterford; Sue was born on July 5, 1934 in Pontiac and passed away peacefully at home on April 25, 2021 at age 86. Survived by loving, caring, remarkably kind and compassionate husband of 65 years, John. Much loved mother of John Jr, Peter (Jodi) and James. Grandmother of Lindsay (Brendan) Pawlik, Austin Rehm (Mikaela Commo), Devon Rehm, Connor (Priya) Rehm and Carly Rehm. Great-grandmother of Olivia, Ava and Noah Pawlik and Xander Rehm. Also survived by a sister, Joan (Erick Starnal) and brother Peter (Shirley) Karner. She graduated from St. Mary’s of Monroe (1952) and matriculated at Michigan State. Married to John at St. Benedict, Waterford on October 29, 1955. She was a diehard Lions and Tigers fan, but mostly she loved the Spartans. Sue and her husband enjoyed traveling and especially took pleasure in trips to Ireland, Germany, Italy, Japan, China, Turkey, Egypt, England and France. A Celebration of Suzanne’s Life will take place 11 a.m. Saturday, May 1, 2021 at Donelson-Johns and Evans Funeral Home, Waterford with visitation starting at 10 a.m the day of the service. Rev. Ronald J. Jozwiak officiating. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Hoist one for Ireland and the Sparties in her honor. Memorial contributions can be sent to a charity of your choice.
