Maria Briones Obituary
Maria was born to Salvador and Juana Olvera on April 22, 1933. She married Pablo R. Briones on Aug. 29, 1953 and he preceded her in death on December 24, 1999. They moved from Plymouth, IN to Texas, and then they moved back to Plymouth, IN in 1966. She was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church. She enjoyed being a homemaker, cooking, and caring for her family. She also liked to read the Enquirer.
Maria will be missed by her sons: Carlos (Jinok) Briones; Pablo Briones, Jr.; Alberto Briones; Ismael Briones; her daughters: Irma Jump; Inelda Chavez; her 15 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; and her sisters: Victoria Pedraza; Maria L. Callvio; Delia Moran; Gloria Russell; Minerva Lazano; Ernestina Ibarra; and Elva Perez.
Maria is preceded in death by her husband, Pablo Briones; her daughters: Oralia Briones; and Gracie Briones; and her brother, Infant Salvador.
Visitation will be held on Monday, Sept. 18, 2023 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in Deaton-Clemens Van Gilder Funeral Home (300 W. Madison St., Plymouth, IN 46563)
An additional visitation will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2023 from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2023 at 10 a.m. in Deaton-Clemens Van Gilder Funeral Home (300 W. Madison St., Plymouth, IN 46563) with Father Fernando Jimenez officiating.
Burial will follow at New Oak Hill Cemetery (Plymouth, IN).
