CAROLYN KROUSE Obituary
Born on April 1, 1937, in Osceola Mills, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Carolyn (Spicer) Ross. She married John H. Krouse on April 4, 1958; he preceded her in death on June 1, 1990.
Carolyn was of the Christian faith and was a homemaker.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Carolyn Y. Krouse; three sisters, Dorothy Quick, Elizabeth Miller and Aretta Conklin; two brothers, Charles Ross Jr. and Donald Ross; a grandson, Brian Krouse Jr.; and a great-grandchild, Xzander Linberg.
Carolyn is survived by four daughters, Sherri Wilson and her husband Thomas of West Decatur, Nancy Summers of Clearwater, Fla., Jacqulain McKlveen and her husband Terry of Mt. Airy, Md., and Teresa Cunningham and her husband Michael of Raeford, N.C.; four sons, John Krouse and his wife Laura of Clearfield, Greg Krouse and his wife Georgie of West Decatur, Brian Krouse and his wife Linda of Kearneysville, W.Va., and Joseph Krouse and his fiancee Jamaal Harris of Decatur, Ill.; four sisters, Mary Singer of Houtzdale, Betty Conklin and her husband Robert of West Decatur, Barbara Geer and her husband Bob of Mahaffey, and Donna Knepp of Wallaceton; 12 grandchildren, April Sowers, Heather Krouse, Robert Bush, Arron Bush, Monica Napoli, Tiffany Hardy, Rebecca Krouse, Amanda Thigpen, Shawn Linberg, Rayanna Bennett, Thomas Summers and Savannah Cunningham; and 23 great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held at 4 p.m. on Monday, June 27, 2022 at Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services, LLC, 701 Lingle St., Osceola Mills, with the Rev. W. Dean Krause officiating. Burial will be at Umbria Cemetery in Osceola Mills.
Visitation will be held on Monday from 2 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at the funeral home.
