John Straw Obituary
He was born in Spangler, son of Paul D. Straw and Bridget Thomas Straw.
He worked as a self-employed salesperson.
Surviving are his parents; brother, Joe (Missy) Straw; and sister, Nicole (Daniel) Dickerson.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Christine Straw; grandmother, Effi McGlynn; and grandparents, Jack and Pauline Straw.
Friends will be received Saturday, Dec. 11, 2021, from 1-2 p.m. at the Lloyd-Dimmick Funeral Home, Inc, Irvona.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home with Pastor Gary McGarvey officiating.

To the family of John Straw
I worked with John when he worked for Medicare and we became good friends, he was a great guy and I remember how proud he was when he bought his home and he had a party with mostly people from the office.
I can't find the words when I heard that he was ill and a short time later he passed away, I wish I knew earlier since I work in the hospital he was a patient and could have spent some time with him. I just want. to say your son and brother was a good man.
