Debra Deloris Golden Lynch, of Monrovia, Maryland, went to be with our Lord and savior Sept. 26 in Mt. Airy, Maryland.
She was born Sept. 2, 1953, to Robert Elmer Golden and Mary Edith Golden. She was married to her husband, David Eugene Lynch, in 1985.
She graduated from the University of Maryland with a masters in psychology. She was an artist who enjoyed creating music, art and poems. She also enjoyed singing, photography, drawing and crafts. She loved cooking and taking care of others. She never knew a stranger.
She was a loving mother and grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.
She will be remembered for her sweet, loving nature. As well as her kind and giving heart. She had a smile and a contagious laugh that could brighten anyone's day. She will be missed dearly by everyone who knew her.
She is survived by her 3 children: Julie Lifford Franklin and her husband, Jeremy of Rogersville, Misty Otto of Sykesville, Maryland, and David Lynch of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; 6 sisters: Marie Mowell, Mary Lynch, Linda Golden, Pat Golden, Connie Stapleton and Theresa Stubblefield; one brother: Chuck Golden; a best friend: Kenneth E. Farmer; seven grandchildren: Logan, Cameron, Mason, Allison, Isabella, Jaxson and Violet; numerous nieces and nephews; and a few special friends.
A celebration of life will be at noon Nov. 4 at Crossroads Church, Rogersville with Pastor Steven Kimery officiating.
