Kathy Settles Obituary

Kathy Benham Settles age 74 of Haydon Brothers Rd., Springfield, died at 12:23 am Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at her residence.

Born September 6, 1948 in Washington County, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Dwyna Lewis Sagracy, Oct. 20, 1986, her 1st husband, Steve Lewis, her 2nd husband, Elbert Settles, her father, Fred Benham, March 4, 2012, her mother, Nancy Ellen Lewis Benham, August 31, 2008 and a brother, Freddy Benham, December 29, 2007.

She was a homemaker and a member of Church of God.

She is survived by a grandson, Jessie Waylon Sagracy at home, a brother, Hollis Wayne (Sandy) Benham of Springfield, a sister, Janet (Larry) Sparrow of Springfield, 5 nieces and nephews, Mary Ellen, Lawrence and Fred Benham, Jenny Loveland and Paula Sparrow and 14 great nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm Saturday, March 4, 2023 at Hale-Polin-Robinson Funeral Home with Sister Sheena Blake, pastor of Church of God officiating. Burial will be in Willisburg Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Richie Chesser, Jeremy Coulter, Hershell Sparrow, Bruce Gibson, Anthony Waldridge, and Dennis Chesser.

Honorary Pallbearers will be great nieces and nephews, Dylan Loveland, Stacey and Matthew Nally, Wyatt McElroy, Tray and Becka Dones and Kolton and Jaxson Sallee.

Visitation will be from 4:00 till 8:00 pm Friday, March 3 and again from 8:00 am till time of service on Saturday at Hale-Polin-Robinson Funeral Home.

Hale-Polin-Robinson Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.
