Bubba as we all at work knew him was one of the hardest workers, but also a kind heart. I enjoyed his company after work and during work. Just a Great Guy and good friend. Even after retirement I would hear from him at every Christmas and during the summer months.

I also worked with Bubba for years! Although I hadn't seen him since 2006 or so, he never forgot to send me best wishes at Christmas! Bubba will always have a fond place in my memories! I don't think they ever made a kinder sole, or a ornery one for that matter. He loved a good joke. You will be missed my friend but not forgotten!

I worked with Bubba for about 12 years. He was the hardest working co-worker. He was also a good friend to me, we had many good times during the many years at WSI.

Bubba was a childhood friend and fellow classmate. When I was young, Bubba lived across the street from my grandparents. Being from a big family, our Sunday visits always involved a game of baseball. Bubba was always there and we all thought of him as one of our cousins. On our Facebook page for Lexington High School, Class of '72, I posted the loss of our classmate. I think one of the post said it best. "Bubba was one of the good guys." He will be greatly missed.

This man was a gem and tho Ive known him only 18 months he was a best friend. Thank you Bubba for the rose garden. It is now there in memory of you. You promised me a rose garden for your house and mine to share and it will live forever in your memory. Chari

We've never met, but I have met your son, Travis. He's a wonderful person and I feel sure you had a hand in that. I'm sure you were very proud. It's heartbreaking to hear you left this earth sooner than expected, but there's no doubt you left a significant mark on this world. May you rest in peace.
