Kevin Butler Obituary
Mr. Butler died Sunday, December 6, 2009. He was born February 3, 1973. in Connellsville, PA. a son of Kevin R. Butler and Rebecca Traynor. He was the transportation manager for Blanchard Machinery and was also employed by Wingard Towing Service, he was a member of the S.C. Trucking Association and also a member of Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church of Connellsville, PA. He enjoyed boating, fishing and camping.
He is survived by his wife, Veonna; daughters, Meredith and Miranda; mother, Rebecca (Kenny) Snyder of Connellsville, PA; father, Kevin “Rusty” Butler of Connellsville, PA; sister, Heather (Alan) Herman of Acme, PA; nephews, Scottie Herman, John Jenkins, Alex Jenkins, John Hatchell III, Kyle Hatchell and Geoffrey Martucci; a niece, Katelyn Hatchell; brothers-in-law, Ronald (Patricia) Jenkins of Gaston, John (Mary Kay) Hatchell of West Columbia, and Allen Hatchell of Folly Beach; mother and father-in-law, John (Kathy) Hatchell of Gaston; stepsister, Miki Ann (Jeff) Martucci of Connellsville, PA; and his beloved dog, Brittany. Mr. Butler was preceded in death by grandparents, Thomas and Helen Traynor, Eleanor Greenawalt, Helen Riggins, Alberta and Kenneth Snyder, Sr., and great-grandmother Edna Eicher.

Veonna, I worked with you at BCBC in the State Dental Department and Cindy Sovde and myself wanted to send our condolences to you and your family in this difficult time. Even though we never met in person we still worked together thru the info system at BCBC when you were in COB. Kevin's entire family and friends are in our prayers. We are so sorry for your loss...I went to high school with Kevin and we used to hang out at Luigi's restaurant with other friends and just carry on and laugh (he liked to make us laugh alot!). He was a great guy, and will be deeply missed.

Veonna, I am so sorry about Kevin. I knew him from Blanchard and worked closely with him washing the trucks and doing things around his house for him. He was a great guy and I will miss him. I just spoke with him on the phone the other week. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Lucas had the privelage of working with Kevin for the past 4 years. Lucas is one of the truck driver's for the Summerville store. I had the pleasure of Meeting Kevin, Veonna and the kids where I work at Dr. Lieberman's office and spent much time with them. There are no words that can express how much Meredith and Miranda will miss their father.
