Braden Lewis Obituary

Braden R. Lewis, 76, of Attleboro, Massachusetts, passed away unexpectedly on May 28, 2023, at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, MA.

Braden was born in Attleboro, Massachusetts on December 21, 1946, to the late Joseph W. Lewis Jr. and the late Ruth (Dalton) Lewis. He was educated in Attleboro public schools and graduated from Attleboro High School. He retired from Needle Tech Products, North Attleboro, Massachusetts in 2018.

Baseball was the sport Braden followed, especially the Boston Red Sox, and whenever on the Cape, a Cape Cod League game! An avid reader, he enjoyed historical biographies. He was also a member of the Patriots Nation, cheering on The Patriots because they were his team! Braden had a passion for the outdoors and would be found walking or biking to take in the fresh air.

Braden is survived by his devoted sisters, Elizabeth "Liz" Lewis of Attleboro, and Mary-Ellen Split and her husband, Paul, of Bourne, nephews: Christopher Split of Mansfield and Brian Split and his partner Bonnie Elwell, niece: Shannon Split Cherrington of Texas, great-niece: Victoria Split of Norton, and many loving "Dalton" cousins and their families.

The family would like to acknowledge the compassionate and caring Cardiac Care Team at Tufts Medical Center, especially his nurses: Allegra, Kyle, Courtney, Lee, and his angel Heather.

Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend Braden's Memorial Service on Thursday, June 8, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA followed by an 11:00 a.m. Funeral Service.

Burial will follow at St. John's Cemetery in Attleboro, MA.

Following burial, an invitation to join the family for a time of continued fellowship and refreshments will be held at Town Tavern & Tap, 11 Robert F. Toner Blvd, North Attleboro, MA 02763.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Braden's memory to the Hebron Food Pantry, 11 Sanford St, Attleboro, MA 02703.
