Christine "Chrissy" Nezlo Murray died Wednesday evening at Geisinger Community Center. Her husband is Robert Murray.
Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of Richard Nezlo of Taylor and Mary Ann Lisowski Nezlo of Scranton. She was a 1992 graduate of Riverside Junior Senior High School and a member of the United Baptist Church of Taylor.
Also surviving are two brothers, Thomas Nezlo (Becky) of Old Forge, and David Nezlo (Leslie) of Virginia; mother-in-law, Judy Murray, Dupont; sister-in-law, Cheryll (Angelo) of Old Forge; brothers-in-law, Richard (Julie) of California and Caryl of Dupont.
She had served on the Taylor Borough Council for several years. She enjoyed her cats and watching reality TV programs, especially the Housewives.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday at 3 p.m. from the Jacob Davis Funeral Home, 422 S. Main St., Taylor, with services by the Rev. David Barrett, pastor of the United Baptist Church. Visitation will be Sunday from 1 p.m. until the time of the service.
