Helen Royko Obituary
Born and raised in Forest City, daughter of the late Francis and Anna Bujnowski Wojcik, she resided in Lewistown, Pa., for many years, where she raised her family. She also spent seven years with her daughter in Tecumseh, Mich., and 11 years with her son in Collierville, Tenn. She was a registered nurse, having been a graduate of Lenox Hill Hospital School of Nursing in New York City and was the oldest living alumna of the school.
Surviving are a daughter, Mary Ann Galvin and husband, Ralph, Tecumseh, Mich.; a son, James Andrew Royko and wife, Mary Alice, Collierville, Tenn.; five grandchildren, Theresa Galvin; Annie Arnett and husband, Tom; Sondra Davis and husband, Lance; Margaret Shelton and Jimmy Peters; four great-grandchildren, Jeffrey, J.T. and Dominic Arnett, and Aubrey Leigh Davis; a sister-in-law, Margaret Rupp, Elmira, N.Y.; several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Andrea Anne, in 1944.
The funeral will be Saturday from the Jones and Brennan Funeral Home, 430 Main St., Forest City, with Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Sacred Heart Church, Forest City. Interment will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery.

Cousins Mary Ann and Jim,
My sister and I are sorry to hear of the loss of your mom. We didn't know of her passing until it appeared in the newspaper. I remember seeing and speaking to her at Uncle Skip's viewing. Thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
