Marie (nee O'Boyle) (McFadden) Jackson passed away peacefully on Dec. 17, 2022. She was 82 years old.
Daughter of the late Bridget and John O'Boyle, she was born July 10, 1940, in Frenchpark, County Roscommon, Ireland. She emigrated from Ireland with her mother and three brothers in 1954. She lived with her family in Scranton Pa., before moving to New Jersey. She and her husband, Joseph McFadden, raised their three children, Barbara, Joseph Jr. and Jane, in Willingboro. Marie received her bachelor's degree in education from Glassboro State College, and her master's degree from Trenton State College. She was an elementary school teacher in the Willingboro School District for more than 30 years.
Marie later moved to Edgewater Park, and helped her husband, Cliff Jackson, raise his two daughters, Chrissy and Kelly. She was a loving mother to her children, and a doting grandmother to her 13 grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by her loving family and many friends.
