Donald Hobbs Obituary
Services for Mr. Donald Bernard Hobbs will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 11, 2014 at Second Bethlehem Church with Rev. Rodney McNeal officiating. The burial will follow at the Garden of Memories under the direction of Robinson Mortuary.
Mr. Hobbs, 57 of Shreveport, Louisiana passed away Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at Willis-Knighton Medical Center in Shreveport, Louisiana. He was an active member of Lake Bethlehem Baptist Church in Shreveport, Louisiana.
Donald, better known as "Pee Wee" attended both Catholic and Rapides Parish schools. He was a 1974 graduate of Bolton High School. After high school, he left home to serve his country in the U.S. Army. When his term of service ended Donald returned home and began his career as a truck driver.
He was preceded in death by his son, Donald Bernard Hobbs, Jr.; his father, Sirwelton Hobbs, Jr.; his sister Veronda Hobbs Alsandor; maternal grandparents, C. L. and Florence Bradford; paternal grandparents, Sirwelton Hobbs, Sr. and Gladys Hobbs Brown; his aunt Gloria Hobbs Bush.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his daughter, Marquand Hobbs Price (Jermaine); his mother Betty Bradford Teasley, his stepfather, Jack Teasley, Jr.; his brothers Everett C. Hobbs (Irene); Sirwelton Hobbs, III, Adam Williams; his stepdaughter, Ilisha Wallace step son Arthur Wallace; the mother of his children Casondra Wallace; his four grandchildren; his three stepsisters, Sheryl Marshall, Linda Vercher, Elizabeth Collins and one stepbrother Tyrone Teasley; his nieces and nephews, and a host of cousins and friends.
Viewing and visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. and end at the time of service.

My prayers are with the Hobbs family. Pee Wee and I started third grade together and graduated from Bolton High school together.We always enjoyed seeing each other. He was a very fun person. I was fortunate to talk to him during the Thanksgiving Holiday. He will be missed. May God Bless all of you.

my prayers are with the hobbs family through this difficult time. i went to st. james with a bernard hobbs in the 1980's and i have not seen him since probably 1987. since it has been so many years, i am trying to figure out if this is the same bernard hobbs. if so i have lost one of my classmates from many years ago. bless this family lord and i am so sorry for your loss
