Anthony C "Tony" Maiorano

Anthony "Tony" C. Maiorano, 65 years old passed away surrounded by his loving family at his home, Thursday, Nov. 29, 2018.

Known by everyone as Tony, he was a lifelong resident of the Tallahassee/Crawfordville area. He was born in Tallahassee, Florida to his late parents Joseph Francis Maiorano and Juanita Snell. Tony loved being around his family, grandchildren and friends. His family said that he enjoyed eating and really loved watching his western movies. He's shaking hands with the best of them now. Tony loved fishing, hunting and was a past member of the Wakulla Commercial Fisherman's Association as well as being a volunteer firefighter.

He is survived by his wife of many years, Suzzanne "Gray" Maiorano of Crawfordville, Florida; son, Anthony Joseph Maiorano of Crawfordville; daughter, Serena (Michael) Bynum of Tallahassee, Florida; brothers, Larry Crosby of Tallahassee, Mike (Carla) Crosby of Tallahassee, Glenn (Julie) Crosby of Tallahassee; sister, Malinda (Roger) Poppell of Tallahassee; grandchildren, Rianna, Ozzy, Austin, Micah, Makayla, Ivy, Shay and Mary J.

Visitation was held from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 2, 2018 at Forbes Funeral and Cremation Services, 2758 Coastal Hwy. Crawfordville, Florida.
Graveside services were held at 11:00 a.m. Monday Dec. 3, 2018 at Lake Ellen Baptist Church Cemetery, 32 Millender Ln., Crawfordville. Family and friends were invited to join the Maiorano family at Forbes Funeral Home following the service until 2:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers the family asks donations be sent to: TAFAPA (Tally Area Foster Adoptive Parent Association), and/or Big Bend Hospice of Tallahassee.
