My family knew Florence through Grace UMC and knew her to be a kind and gentle soul. My two boys still remember picking her up at the Elms and hearing the stories of earlier times in Westerly and of her times teaching the many children she had in her classes. God bless you Florence.

To Ms. Kennedy Family

I am honored to have know Ms. Kennedy. I attended the two classroom school in the Village of White Rock. Helen McCarthy taught 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade all in one room. Ms. Kennedy taught 4th
5th and 6th grade. The classes were small so each teacher was able to spend valuable time with each child.
Two better teacher could not be found and I know they left foot prints for many students to follow. I later retired as a Police Lieutenant in Westerly and often ran into her in Town. Rest in peace Ms. Kennedy you will not be forgotten.
