Frederick Weber Obituary

Frederick W. Weber, 66, of Cayer Trail, Wood River Junction, died Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2011, at The Westerly Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Patricia A. (Cayer) Weber.
Born on Sept. 2, 1945, in Westerly, he was a son of the late William and Dorothy (Senior) Weber.
Frederick worked as a shipfitter at Electric Boat in Groton for many years before retiring.
Frederick served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era. He was a member of the Hopkinton Horseshoe League. A big Red Sox fan and NASCAR fan, he loved fishing and tennis. He also loved to watch his children and grandchildren play sports.
Besides his wife, he will be sadly missed by his children, Frederick W. Weber Jr. and his wife, Gina, of Charlestown, James M. Weber and his wife, Michele, of Richmond, Teri A. Segura and her husband, Ivan, of Richmond and Katie L. Vane and her husband, Chris, of Lisbon, Conn.; grandchildren, Josh, Brittany, James Jr., Elizabeth Sienna Weber, and Isabela, Joseph and Lucas Segura; and two sisters, Sally Smith and Susan Leslie.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Weber.
His funeral is Monday at 9 a.m. from the S.R. Avery Funeral Home, 3A Bank St., Hope Valley, followed by a graveside service with military honors at 10 a.m. in the RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter. Calling hours Saturday are from 4 to 8 p.m.
