Pat and I worked together in Cottrell. We became good friends, and she was like a big sister to me. I have such wonderful memories of times my Mom and I spent with the Mackay family. I stopped at the house a few times since I returned to the area, but no one ever came to the door. Today I am thinking about all the fun times we had and I am sad. RIP my dear friend.

My condolences to Pat's family. I remember Pat when I worked for Foxwoods HR. She was always friendly and very helpful. Praying for her loved ones left behind.

Mackay Family,
Sorry to learn of the passing of Pat and Claire do to Covid I presently have I was unable to attend there services. I have such fond memories of the old family that lived in the Village of White Rock.
About five years ago I visited with Claire and Pat at their home and we exchanged old family names of who lived in the village in the forty and fifty.
I found both sisters to be a wealth of knowledge.
They say the apple don't fall to far from the tree Mr. Mackey I recall sitting in his backyard listen to
baseball games on his radio and Pat followed in his footsteps. They had a chicken coop in the backyard, the chicken had been gone years ago. Roland Gouvin who lived in the village used to show silent movie in the chicken coop on Saturday evening and family would pay 5 cents to watch them. The good old days.
As I look back now the Mackay and the Helen Burns family are last of the old family's who still lived in the village. Claire and Pat where never to far apart from ne another and it seem fitting that they would follow one another into the spirit world together. Where we are now they were. Where they are now we shall be.
Carol and Betsy were part of the old family's.

I have known and lived next door to the Mackay´s all my life. The Mackay´s were the first family my family met when they came to the United States and they have always been in our hearts. My deepest sympathy goes out to Jim and Marion and it is with a deep and sadden heart that White Rock has lost another resident.
