Gary Dean Obituary
He was born Dec. 10, 1950, in Marietta, to the late Robert Lee Dean and Edna Mabry Dean.
He was a loving son, husband, dad, brother and grandpa.
He worked as a heavy equipment operator. He loved porch sitting, fishing, watching football and throwing horseshoes.
He is preceded in death by loving wife, Gwendolyn "Gwen" Hendricks Dean; grandfather, Virgil Norris Mabry and grandmother, Mamie Morgan Mabry.
He is survived by daughters, Shauna Marie Dean and Tammy Hayden – Neal; brother, Robert (Opal) Lanier Dean; sister, Patricia Dean (David) Holland; nieces, Kimberle Harrison, Kelly Martin, and Joey Hunt; and grandchild, Lillian "Lily" Grace Garfield.
He will be cremated, and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Bernhardt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
